A precious moment of my little love bug enjoying tea. (or water ;-)

Sixty Flavors of Tea!

I recently splurged on tea from Harney and Son Fine Teas. I ordered a few different variety packs. Each had 20 different flavors. So there are about 60 new teas for me to try. I love tea! So this is exciting. I am going to try to have one new flavor everyday. I am re-reading a book called Homeschooling With a Meek and Quiet Spirit and a lady who wrote to the author said she had daily "tea time" with The Lord. Sounds like a good idea!

A Birthday Tea

This past Friday Natalie, Holly and I were invited to a beautiful Birthday Tea at the Mello's home. It was lovely! Princess were dressed for tea. China wear on the table. Perfectly organized!
The birthday girls were giving thoughtful homeaid gifts. We enjoyed each others fellowship. The eldest Mello daughters served us tea and did a wonderful job. Prepairing this must have took alot of time and effort. Here are some pictures from the party! (please excuse that they are not in perfect order ;)

I am afraid that the schools will prove the very gates of hell, unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures and engraving them in the heart of the youth. Martin Luther

By Justin!!

Justin wrote this about a week or so ago. He was recenlty taught in public school about evolution and he typed this out on our computer all on his own and said please don't look at what I am writting till I am done. I said ok and I was very impressed with him.

Welcome,
I am here to discuss how evolution is wrong. If you are at a meeting at work or in school being taught about the theory of evolution listen. Because if you listen carefully the professor will only use assumptions instead of proven facts. There are 6 question you can ask.
(1) How do you know that the theory of evolution is right?
(2)If you are right where are the facts? And they will say "we know it took millions of years for the grand canyon to form "but where is the evidence?
(3) But if you are wrong?
(4) There has to be a main creator right?
(5) If you are right what difference will it make?
(6) If you are right do you think people will stop worshipping there God?
Ok well thank you for your time.and good luck

Justin's Christmas Concert

This past December Justin was in a Christmas concert at the Local High School. I was pleased to hear all the songs that included Christ. There were a good amount of them. His school also put on a little concert. At his school the sang "Winter" songs. It is sad to see them keeping the Christ out of Christmas. I can't wait to start Homeschooling him next year. Because we will be keeping Christ in all we do.

Good job Justin

Should A Christian Mother Work Outside the Home?

This summer I read an awesome book by Jennie Chancey and Stacy McDonald called Passionate Housewives Desperate for God. It totally gave me a new view on the way a Christian wife and mother is to be in the eyes of The Lord. You can purchase this book on http://www.visionforum.com/ I did some more research about this issue and I came across this article. It about sums it up.
I ask you the reader to please pray and ask The Lord what he thinks on this issue and read.
http://www.thechristianwoman.com/christian-women-topics/should-christian-mother-work.html

James 1 (New King James Version)
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Clearly there is an appropriate kind of sheltering. When those who are opposed to homeschooling accuse me of sheltering my children, my reply is always, 'What are you going to accuse me of next, feeding and clothing them?"---R.C. Sproul Jr.
